Back in May, I received a very generous and beautiful package from Sara Happ. Inside the contents was the Perfect Pout in a box set. In the set was the lip scrub, the lip slip, and sweet clay lip mask. Apart from that set, was The dream slip ‘renew’. Next was unboxed were the Plump & Prime lip airbrush, and lastly the Pink slip one luxe gloss. This package came with more than enough, and I thank the whole Sara Happ team for this humbling opportunity to review these products.
The Perfect Pout in a box
The lip scrub
Anything exfoliating is my middle name! So when I noticed in this trio I had received the lip scrub, I knew I would enjoy using this quite frequently! Like i had explained in my last instagram post featuring a short review of these products, I explained that the lips scrub is recommended to be used once a day,. But I honestly cannot scrub my lips with this every single day, because as we all know excessive exfoliation is not a good thing, and more with our lips having one of the most sensitive skin on our bodies, daily use for me is a no even though i did end up loving this product! The granules are like the size of brown sugar, and the scrub is accompanied by the smooth feeling of grapeseed and jojoba oil. This scrub is perfect to use before any lip look, for a smooth application and flawless finish.
The lip slip
is perfect on its own, and as a lovely glossy topper to any lip color, or even underneath. But just like the description says, I sometimes find myself leaving it over night and waking up to a comfy moisturized smile!
And the sweet clay lip mask
She is definitely the awkward one in the group. Minty or tingly, whichever you feel it being. To be completely honest, I don’t see any need for our lips to require a clay mask, since that type of mask is used to help our skin kind of detox. but just as the description includes, my lips do end up feeling pretty smooth afterwards wiping with a wet cotton round.
The dream slip
Soft, creamy, gentle, much more as a before bed. This one’s not sticky glossy feeling at all. I have a feeling this one will be my main friend in the winter times!
Plump & Prime
Without a doubt, a lip primer. I find it essential before applying a fabulously pouty matte lip, preferably a brown or dark mauvy pink! apart from the endless matte lip possibilities you can get away with this baby, it is also a lip plumper, but without the sting of a classic. I have no idea how that can be done but the difference in the volume of my lips is noticeable, and its impressive to me! I cant recommend this one more, its a must try for those of us wh are sensitive to strong and honestly, unnecessary sensations..
The pink slip one luxe gloss
Pink lips is not really my thing, but if you have ntice throught this whole review, I haven’t had a completely bad experience with anything I was sent here! So apart from the shade, which is one of many others, this lip gloss still works.. Don’t get me wrong, the color pay off isn’t even that much, its actually very sheer until you build it up. The finish is glass like; just like Glossier’s lip gloss, so that made me very happy, because as anyone who’s into the latest in current makeup looks knows that lip gloss is back and it seems to be for good! Another perfect topper to (again) any lip color.
While writing this in-depth review, I’ve noticed something pretty neat about these products. If you know what I am about to say, High Five! but to elaborate, The general range of products from Sara Happ not only help you achieve a smooth pout for your lip looks, but they also work in unison with those looks and daily life as well! That is a very big deal, and I’m so happy I was able to finally enjoy a Pr package with products I fully enjoyed, to write out a honest and positive review! Thank you once again to the Sara Happ team for believing in me to review their products. And if you were curious about this brand, I hope I was able to help you become more interested!
